I happen to stumble across this clip of Glenn Beck discussing secession with two very promient secessionists from the League of the South and the Second Vermont Republic. I started to read into secession movements and was surprised to discover one that advocated the states of Orgeon , Washington and parts of Northen California to join with my province British Columbia to form a new nation called Cascadia. While it seems like a ridiculous idea to some the secessionists do make some strong arguments. People are fed up with over bearing Federal Governments in both countries , Peak Oil , Endless War and runaway Corporatism are only going to strengthen these movements not to mention the total lack of leadership on Climate Change could factor in as well.
